What is the address of the venue? How do I get to the venue?

Our wedding is being held at [insert address]. You can use this link to view the location in Google Maps. Once you arrive, take the long drive and turn left when the road forks. The ground is uneven in some places, and you’ll have to walk to the reception area (~300 feet), but transportation is provided for those who need it. Parking valet will be on site to handle parking.

How is the wedding going to play out? What is the schedule?

The wedding ceremony will start at 11 a.m. Central Time and will be relatively short. Following the ceremony, walk to the reception area and lunch will start shortly after. After lunch we’ll cut the wedding cake and have dessert. We’re hoping to make this a fun experience for anyone attending, and will have lawn games going, feel free to linger and fellowship with friends, family, and potential friends-to-be! If you’ve RSVP-ed to camp out, there will be a “drive-in-style” movie playing that evening.

What is the environment of the venue? Is there a dress code?

The wedding will be held outdoors; the weather forecast will be updated as soon as available. Closed-toed footwear recommended, if you want to wear a wide-brimmed hat, feel free to! We’ll provide shade and plenty of water, but if you’re especially sensitive to sun or heat, feel free to come further prepared.

There will be some walking, both from the parking spots to the ceremony and from the ceremony to the reception. We will be providing transport for anyone who needs it, as well as closer parking for the elderly or disabled.

All this said, if you want to come wearing something comfortable yet stylish, go for it!

Are plus-ones and children allowed?

Children are allowed and encouraged to come! We’ll have some separate kids’ tables, but if you want to sit together as a family, that’s perfectly fine! This will be a family friendly environment.

So long as a plus-one is mentioned in the RSVP, it’s allowed, we’d be happy for you to include someone special to you in our special day.

What type of food is being served?

We’ll serve a buffet-style barbeque meal with three main meat options (two beef-based, the other chicken), sides, and rolls. Unfortunately, we won’t be serving any gluten-free or vegan options, but if you would like to bring something to eat during the reception please feel free to do so.

A variety of drinks will be provided: water, lemonade, iced tea, and bottled soda. We’ll also provide juice boxes and CapriSuns for the kids’ table.
